Government – Australia, Cable Storage Reels for Defence Field Operations |

A large Australian owned communications cable supplier was selected from a small panel of Australian Defence suppliers to quote and supply a custom Hannay portable hose reel to house unique cable for army field service operations.
They approached Reel-Tech™ who are more than happy to help with military spec hose and cable reel expertise and to initially quote the units as requested. The cable supplier was competing against one local and two overseas suppliers. They needed to be both accurate with costings, and supply of equipment to provide a competitive offer. After months of work ensuring the right reel for the application, they presented their proposal to Australian Defence along with our custom Hannay cable reel and we were was advised as the successful party! 🙌 They placed a large initial order with Reel-Tech and we were able to full that order in the time permitted. Australian Defence checked and ticked off on shipment and then placed 5 further forward orders with them for supply. All in all this was a huge order and a win-win all around.
