## Big Reel Deals
*Pit Bull SR™ Hose Reels already in use at busy mining workshop*
A major mining company was in dire need of an upgrade to their mining workshop reels. They needed to solve some issues like operator shoulder strain and more. Whom did they come to?
Reel-Tech™ of course, to set them up with some top-of- the-line [Pit Bull SR](https://reeltech.com.au/product/pit-bull-hose-reels/)’s. First, we upgraded one of their mines in 2019 (see the pics in this blog post). The Pit Bull SR's also have our wireless rewind system which minimises the effort to walk/pull the reel in and out. Now another of their heavy vehicle workshop is being spec’d for reel upgrades. This is the second with more to come.

Reel-Tech’s range of Pit Bull SR hose reels are designed with ergonomics and safety
in mind. The reels are derived and shares its DNA from the renowned [Pit Bull™](https://reeltech.com.au/product/pit-bull-hose-reels/) mining series reels. It incorporates the same patented [Direct Drive Safe-R-Reel™](https://reeltech.com.au/product/safe-r-reel/) gearbox technology to deliver safer rewind speeds, providing better hose control to minimise risks to operators whilst extending hose and equipment life, reducing operating costs.
The Pit Bull SR reel as standard is equipped with the world-patented [Ezi-Deploy™ automatic clutch system](https://reeltech.com.au/product/ezi-deploy/) for deploying hose with minimal effort. This key feature has been proudly developed by the team at Reel-Tech and ergonomically tested to provide an optimal low force exertion to help reduce or eliminate operator sprain/strain injuries resulting from such manual handling tasks.
Another patented safety feature, the [FlatWinder™ automatic hose layering system](https://reeltech.com.au/product/flat-winder/) is also available as an optional feature of this reel and combined with the [Reel-In-Control wireless remote-control technology](https://reeltech.com.au/product/reel-in-control-remote-control/), it provides the ultimate ergonomic solution to assist operators rewind the hose safely back to the reel with little to no operator effort.
