## Learn about Hannay's wide range of Communications reels.
Maintaining open lines of communication is critical to the success of any enterprise. From organising a news broadcast to monitoring military activities, effective connections require a considerable amount of high-quality technology and management. Critical contacts or communications may be lost or delayed if these requirements are not met. Hannay Reels provides portable and fixed cable reels, as well as mobile communication equipment, for use in broadcast media, live performances, mining, military, and other applications. Let's look at five of our finest communications reels to see how they might assist with your application.
The Hannay AVF-14 reel is intended for use with 3mm to 9.2mm fiber optic and broadcast SMPTE, TAC, and opticalCON cable. This lightweight reel weighs less than 5 kilos, making it easy to travel and handle at all times. The AVF-14 has a non-reflective black matte appearance as standard, as well as a high-quality aluminium structure that provides substantial advantages in tough outdoor settings.
Furthermore, this reel incorporates internal drum storage with a protective grommet that allows simple access to the lead-out wire while keeping dirt and debris out.
The AVF-18 is a reliable reel solution with some extra design elements that can handle the same size and kind of cable as the AVF-14. The AVF-18 is made of steel and aluminium and weighs less than 12 kilos. It is extremely durable in a range of outdoor environments. Internal drum storage is also included, as well as a protective grommet for easy access to the lead-out wire. Furthermore, its frame-style construction includes clips that allow many reels to be stacked together for simple storage and heavy-duty casters for rapid mobility.
The Hannay AV reel is designed for quick deployment and on-the-go stowage of everything from broadcast and audio cables to extension cords and rope. This reel is made of tough steel and aluminium and features a square tube frame with frame clamps for simple stacking. Transport may be quick, straightforward, and pleasant with ergonomic carrying handles and optional heavy-duty rollers.
The Hannay AVX-100 is suited to optimal cable management for stage box units. It features a durable tray for stage box unit storage and a slotted divider disc that allows connector pigtails to be safely stored alongside snake cables. A sturdy rubber twist tie is also attached to help keep delicate cable ends in order. Like our other communications reels, the AVX-100 is built with rugged steel and aluminium materials with a black, non-reflective black matte finish.
The Hannay AVX-100 is ideal for stage box unit wire management. It has a sturdy tray for storing stage box units and a slotted divider disc for safely storing connection pigtails beside snake cables. A strong rubber twist knot is also included to assist keep the fragile cable ends in place. The AVX-100, similar to our other comms reels, is made of tough steel and aluminium with a black, non-reflective black matte surface.
These reels in particular will see the best effect when deployed in Government, First responders, and Outside Broadcast and Entertainment industries, where cost and quality meet to provide a superior reel.
